Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Description: PALS is a classroom, video-based, instructor led course that utilizes a series of simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, resuscitation and team dynamics.

Target Audience: The PALS Course is for healthcare providers with direct care or participate in the management of respiratory and/or cardiovascular emergencies and cardiopulmonary arrest in pediatric patients. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, as well as those needing a PALS course completion card as a job requirement.
